Professor James Looby and CIS student Natalie Schurman were both featured prominently in a Spectrum News feature story that ran yesterday about a state-wide plan to boost computer science education in K-12 schools. The plan also focuses on attracting young women to the field. Unfortunately, the story doesn’t note that either Professor Looby or Natalie are connected with Hudson Valley Community College, but thanks to both for being available to lend their expertise.
